Breesee shades are stylish, affordable, and built with high-quality Aussie-made components. They’re designed for quick and easy DIY installation, so you can enjoy shade, privacy, and weather protection without the headache of complicated setups, or expensive contractors!

Just measure the space between your mounting points! Your shade should be 10-50cm smaller than this because the elastic cords stretch to fit perfectly. Check out our handy sizing chart for extra help.

Since our shades are sewn by hand, there may be a small size variation of 2-3%. If you need a precise fit, we recommend allowing for a little flexibility when measuring your space.

This is generally possible! Just send us an email in the form below with your preferred size and a high-quality image for printing. Custom orders take a little longer and may have extra costs, but we’ll make sure it’s worth it. Keep in mind, custom shades can’t be refunded.

Mostly everything you need! You’ll get the shade, mounting materials, and easy-to-follow instructions. All you need is a drill and a solid spot to mount it.

Yep! Our shades handle the Aussie sun, wind, and light rain like a champ. But for extreme weather, we recommend taking them down to keep them in top shape for longer.

It’s super easy! Just follow these instructions:

  1. Measure and mark your mounting points.

  2. Screw in the provided hooks.

  3. Attach the elastic cords through the shade’s eyelets.

  4. Stretch the elastics to the hooks and adjust if needed. The whole process takes about 10 minutes—no special tools or skills needed!

Easy! Keep it dry before storing, and take it down during crazy weather to make it last longer. If you want to wash it, be sure to use a hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle on low heat. 

Pop it in the original canvas bag! Just make sure it’s dry, remove the elastic cords, and fold it neatly to avoid creases.

Our shades are reinforced with triple-layer stitching around the edges to ensure the eyelets stay secure. As long as they’re used in normal weather conditions, they shouldn’t rip out!

Yes! If you want to install your shade in multiple locations and swap it around, you can purchase extra mounting kits from us.

Like anything exposed to the sun, some fading is natural over 6-12 months. To keep it looking fresh, try to limit long-term direct sunlight when not in use.

No stress—just use a fabric steamer or a warm iron with a protective ironing cloth. Avoid direct contact with the fabric to prevent damage.

While they’re tough, we recommend taking them down during extreme weather or when not in use for long periods to keep them in tip-top condition.
